I finished Geoff's book yesterday. I had to pace myself so I
did not read it all in one sitting.
I wish I had your self control. The first day I had on the couch, to
the loo, at the dinner table. Then I finished it in bed that night.
And I still keep picking it up and rereading parts randomly.
I remember when certain albums came out I thought "Well, I'm not sure
I love this one yet, but I do really like the way it sounds", and then
it would be "I'm getting to like this album a lot, but I LOVE the way
it sounds".
And now I'm finding out how many of them were Geoff Emerick records!
It confirmed the things I already suspected. But in a way I would really
liked to have kept my illusions. Makes the music even more remarkable !
