Actually, I think most of it is getting better, but American companies
sometimes leave parts of the manufacturing engineering process tot the
Chinese folks, and they don't always "get it."
If he "was sent" a new, Chinese (or any other origin) speaker from a
dealer, then other than to check that a wire didn't slip off a
terminal, he shouldn't worry about it - send it back and get a
replacement. But I suspect this was an "experienced" speaker of unknown
parentage.
I guess that shouldn't matter if we just try to answer the question.
But it matters what question to ask.
