Otherwise most of the base units run off an external DC supply - usually
12/15V.
Easy enough to make up a battery pack for it.

I'm trying to find a wireless microphone setup that has a base that
runs on battery power. The use if for speaking at large funerals where
no power run can be made and no generator can be used. I have the PA
covered but I need mics.
Any ideas?
