There's no reason for the pull-up and pull-down versions. If you're not
synced to the camera, the clock rate is irrelevant. The picture,
regardless of frame rate, will run a certain number of minutes and
seconds. So will your audio recording. In the absence of external
sync, the length of your recording is not affected by the camera.
