If there are audible differences, then those differences could easily be
measured. So that's what you should be looking at. Rather than asking for
the opinion of others or trying to determine it yourself by ear only. The

Sorry, sonic differences occur that can't be quantified even with the
best test gear, like Audio Precision. Testing resistors requires RF
gear like HP network analyzers to show differences as the test
measurements in the audio bandwidth show almost no differences. Some
metal film manufacturers like Roederstein show rf test results. Dale
MF's are favored for audio due to the non-ferris end cap construction.
Bulk foils like Vishay S102's really beat out all MF resistors in every
measurement and sonically. At $10 each, don't expect Digi Design to
ever use these.

Yes, resistors do make a difference. Whether you can hear it somewhat
depends on everything else being optimized so the resistors are the
last indians standing. I just went through one channel of a Ashley
SC-55 and added the Dale RN55C's along with TI THS opamps and MAT-02
transistors over the LM394's. Wow, what a difference over those 4558's
and carbon film resistors.

If you can't hear a difference, use the Yagoes. I'll stick with the
Dales and Vishays.
