The thermal noise of a resistor is equal to:

Vt = sqrt(4kTBR)

where:

Vt = the rms noise voltage
k = Boltzmann's constant 8.617339*10^-5 volts/Kelvin.
T = temperature(Kelvin)
B = noise bandwidth(Hz)
R = resistance

Uhuh. Boltzmann's constant is 1.38.10^-23

Graham

That's in Joules/Kelvin. I chose the Volts/Kelvin value because at
first glance its units seemed more appropriate. Perhaps that's wrong.
