Re: Newbie: mixer problem

Here's how it is connected for the mac output which is the worst.
Sound comes out of headphones out on the mac through a stereo minijack.
The other end has a stereo minijack to stereo jack converter. This
plugs into the jack input on the mixer (BAL or UNBAL). I am not using
the XLR mic inputs. Also the effects are not on.

I've just tried something else. I plugged a minijack to jack converter
into the headphones on the back of the mac. Then ran a mono jack to
jack into the mixer and all is ok.

Now I am thinking I have been a right banana and should be wiring left
and right through seperate channels. Is this correct?
