I found that not using those string section patches and
going with individual violin viola and cello patches works
best. MEans borrowing a lot of midi channels if your supply
of separate modules is limited, but you can do this, take it
from virtual to two tracks of daw or tape.

AS Gary says, use a bit of compression and maybe a good room
verb to help glue them together.
