Then, Mike, you're going to have reliability problems. You want a commodity
item, but what you want to do isn't what the commodity item buyers want.

I think that both the writing and reading is getting worse. It doesn't
have anything to do with SCMS, but it might be a plot by the industry
to, if not eliminate copying, make it less "perfect" than we expect.

No, it's because the vast majority of these things are being used by people
who care about speed over errors, because most of them are in applications
where that is appropriate.
