Scott's idea will certainly help, but you can augment this (or deal with
the problem "as is" if you don't have figure-8s) by time-adjusting the
vocal mic slightly -- on the order of 0.7-1.1 mS
I won't argue with success if you've had any with this method, but I
find that "that awful sound" isn't because of leakage causing comb
filtering, it's caused by putting some EQ on the voice and having it
also affect the sound of the guitar, and vice versa. So it's best to
get "that good sound" before you start mucking around with it.
