I know you have to have a battery or dc voltage and a transformer
Neeed a starting place to experiment

What model is it? Single button or double-button? What is the static
resistance?

Easiest thing to do is a 9V battery through a dropping resistor to put
some voltage across the mike. Then pick the signal across the mike
off with a DC blocking cap in series.

I've seen some folks do goofy tricks with phantom power, which can be
fun, but first just try with the resistor and capacitor. Try around
10 uF on the cap to start. The resistor depends on the mike. Many of
those mikes are intended to handle pretty high currents, but some are
not.
