hello, I have two recent yamaha pa monitors with 15" drivers that do not work. loud low/mid feedback was mistakenly allowed and one driver stopped working immediately. the second one worked for a few hours after that and then quit as well. the horns and crossovers seem to work correctly. a shame as they were basically new with only 6 hours on them. my questions are: what's likely wrong with them? should I consider having the drivers repaired or does it make more sense to just replace them. cost is an issue. any advice appreciated.
These are new? Sounds to me that you may have a warranty issue. Take it up with the dealer. If they won't fix it under warranty, it'll be cheaper to have the speakers re-coned rather than buying new ones.
