Did you look at the enlarged picture? Seems that channel strip 1 is awfully
close to the wood frame, particularly the raised rear portion. Looks like a
design problem because it appears you can't get a hold of the knobs fully,
which means moving them with one finger and pushing off-axis on them. Maybe
it's just me, but the frame could have been OG'd a little to allow two
fingers access. Otherwise it looks somewhat like my Soundtracs! <g>
And where is the star ground connector?
But I've gotta admit, if it's from Malcolm, it's gotta be good.
