Dr. Allison has assured me that it is not a typo, because he read it in

something is so, by golly it's going to be so, even if it's wrong.

It's certailnly wishful thinking, though at that price it would
certainly deter the purchaser from taking it apart and rack-mounting
the channel strips - the usual fate of consoles of that vintage and
reputation these days.
