Please pause for a moment and consider how close these (LED version)
connections bring your clean, filtered DC to your dirty, un-filtered
Mains.
IMHO build a tiny half wave circuit, Diode, Capacitor, Resistor
divider to bring the voltage into the proper range. The LED will
ignore the ripple.

Many "indicator" type LEDS have current regulators built in as
evidenced by a specified "voltage range" eg. 3-24VDC
