hi,
I have a Ghost so I'm not in the market (sorry), but I am pretty sure
that I've seen Jim "San Diego rocks" Williams mention this same thing
before too (either that, or he told me when I called him a few years
back).
I'm curious to know if it's simply a matter of opening up the Ghost
from the bottom, locating the power and disconnecting. There are no
repercussions power-wise by doing this? You just leave the end of the
ribbon cable/wires/whatever inside the guts of the Ghost? If that's the
case, I might to do it on mine.
And it's ONLY the bus outs that benefit? I almost always only use the
individual channel direct outs, since clients always get fidgety when I
talk about mixing back out of the computer through the board. We almost
always end up just mixing in the box.
But still, for the odd occasion...if you have any advice, let me know.
thanks,
Rick
