transferring between pro-tools TDM/Mac and LE/PC?

I'm hoping the collective experience in this group can help me with
some pro-tools issues. My band is working on a new record, and what
we'd like to do is cut the basic tracks in a mid-priced studio running
pro-tools TDM on a Mac, do overdubs at home using pro-tools LE on a PC,
and go back to a higher-end studio to mix on another TDM/Mac system. Is
this feasible and realistic? Are the files readily transferrable back
and forth between these systems?
