Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing good.

I would like some recommendations as to a decent
CD ripper program. What I want to do is to rip
my entire cd collection to my computer for listening.
I dont need mp3, I will be ripping into wav files.
I do want CDDB to name the albums and songs as I rip.

The only two that I know of that do proper error detection are EAC and Plextools. Everything else expects the CD to be in good condition and error free. The error correction on an audio CD is not as robust as on a data CD. If the CD has any scratches or other imperfections then ordinary extraction software will just copy the date complete with glitches. EAC and Plextools will re-read the bad area at a lower speed a number of times in order to recover the best possible data. They both work with online databases for automatic naming of files.
