Taking her to catch the last ferry is a much more
innocuous activity  than taking her to a beach to *** her.

he would want to cover up by lying about it.
A coverup that could extend even to purposefully
letting the only other witness expire due to
the effects of the accident. Maybe his
inattention to the vicitm was more than just negligence.

Maybe he fucked her and then killed her to keep her quiet. Maybe while
he was fucking her she confessed to being the mysterious missing
shooter on the grassy knoll and Ted killed her in a fit of rage. Maybe
a UFO forced the car off the road and ordered Kennedy to keep quiet or
they would destroy the US with powerful ray guns.
