"Just 2% of voters who supported Barack Obama on Election Day obtained
perfect or near-perfect scores on a post election test which gauged
their knowledge of statements and scandals associated with the
presidential tickets during the campaign, a new Zogby International
telephone poll shows.
Only 54% of Obama voters were able to answer at least half or more of
the questions correctly.
The 12-question, multiple-choice survey found questions regarding
statements linked to Republican presidential candidate John McCain and
his vice-presidential running-mate Sarah Palin were far more likely to
be answered correctly by Obama voters than questions about statements
associated with Obama and Vice-President Elect Joe Biden. The
telephone survey of 512 Obama voters nationwide was conducted Nov. "
"...this poll really proves beyond any doubt the stunning level of
malpractice on the part of the media in not educating the Obama
portion of the voting populace," said Ziegler."
Yes, the Reverand Wright, Bill Ayers, and so on, were not reported at
all.
I'm surprised you posted this testament to right-wing misinformation and
campaign lies. Indeed, the poll text reads like a "push poll".
So instead of being misinformed, you're saying Obama voters
are just easily manipulated. OK.
How about the fact that there was a dumb poll paid for by someone with
a strong and obvious agenda?
The survey was commissioned by John Ziegler... ... producer of the
upcoming documentary film, Media Malpractice...How Obama Got Elected.
Where was the sister poll on McCain voters? This assumes that they
would have all scored perfectly.
No, the opposite. The Republican examples were clear and
well-publicized, but the Democratic examples were relatively
questionable and mostly circulated by Fox and the right-wing noise
machine.
Not only that. Palin's miscues were within eight weeks of the
election. The "dirt" that the right-wing blogosphere was trying to
"dig up" was from years ago. I wonder why this poll didn't ask about
the Keating Five. LOL!
I personally think this election was about who the voters thought had
the leadership ability to get the country out of the mess the right
has placed us in. I know at least three people who had never voted for
a Dem for President who did this time. They called me and said, "Guess
what I did?". When I asked them why, all three said they could not
stomach Palin. What demographic groups did McCain carry?
The republicans will either get smart and start shunning the
evangelicals, or they will continue to wander in the political desert.
Personally, I'm all for Palin in 2012. You go, girl! LOL!
