The Eastman Wind Ensemble would be a top NASCAR vehicle,

I dunno about that. A world-class orchestra is usually
well over on-stage 100 musicians, but according to their
pictures, the Eastman Wind Ensemble are maybe a little
less than 1/3 of that. So if an orchestra is like a
3,400 pound NASCAR racing automobile, then the Eastman
Wind Ensemble is more like a motorcycle.

lol First of all, you're displaying total ignorance
concerning the size of ensembles. World class ensembles
are made up of the numbers of players required by the
composers of the works that they play. The EWE performs
with as few as 8 and as many as 50 players, based on what
the composer requires to realize the music.

Well Jenn, thank you for showing how you distort the facts to press your
agenda of libel against me.

I estimated an ensemble size of about 30, with the point being that they are
much smaller than a full orchestra. You started out by insulting me for my
ignorance, and then basically affirmed my estimate as being pretty much
correct or even much larger than actual. To wit, a range of 8 to 50 averages
to 29 as compared to my estimated 30. Most of your range of 8 to 50 is less
than my estimate, if anything showing that I was generous with my estimate.

Botton line Jenn we see the usual Middiot posse deceptive strategy that you
proudly pursue, first insulting my intelligence and then basically affirming
what I say.

Secondly, the Eastman Wind ensemble is a school
orchestra or a teaching orchestra. Their reason to exist
involves students. They could probably play pretty well
with no conductor at all. So, they are not like
"Richard Petty Racing Inc.", they are more like "The
Richard Petty Driving Experience", only moved down to
motorcycles, more specifically futuristic AI motorcycles
that pretty much drive themselves.

lol Unbelievable. They are students, but they could
play pretty well by themselves.

Same basic strategy part deux. Jenn you start out by laughing at my
conclusion and again you affirm the basic facts that I presented.

You are correct on both
counts. What you miss is that while they are students,
they are among the best junior, senior, and grad students
in the world.

I never missed any such thing, Jenn.

The EWE has released some 40 commercially
available recordings on labels such as Mercury, DGG,
Decca, Sony, etc.

Speaks to their effectivness as professionals.

And yes, they could play "pretty well"
without a conductor, but not as well as the recording I
posted.

Empty words in the face of all of your other deceptions, Jenn.
