Please note: There are some people in the World that really have very little
interest in US internal politics.
BTW Arny please keep quiet. Yes I know all amplifiers sound the same, CD is
perfect and the World's best CD player is the Sony CDP101 and I'm a kook for
playing vinyl and your opinion of me is very low ;-) Sigh............
Sure...what would you like to discuss?
I'm open to vinyl, TT, arm cart discussions.
While my rig isn't SOTA in many's view I find it does the job well
enough to my ears.
It's a Mitsu LT-30 (please don't confuse it with the LT-5, a very
different beast) with AT OC9 cart.
1. I've read about using one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to brush
one's stylus. Anyone here ever try that?
Yes, the results were indifferent as I recall.
2. Three great record finds today at our local store:
The Weavers Reunion at Carnegie Hall Part 2 on Vanguard reissue
Belefonte Returns to Carnegie - RCA with Odetta, Chad Mitchell Trio
Khachaturian Masquerade Suite, etc on RCA
Between the 3 records: 2 little pops. Great finds.
Well, the Vanguard vinyl was generally well pressed. And they didn't
have a lot of effects to crap things up. I'm just not a Weavers fan.
