As 2pid pointed out, nature seeks its own balance. I don't believe the
"end is nigh" either. A balance will be struck, possibly after
billions are dead due to starvation, drought, or whatever.
"Billions dead" and "bratzi-like creatures out of control" would be
quite close to, if not right there, the end. I'm just not that
pessimistic about all this.
It also shows his brain is completely frazzled.
Although there might be some drought etc accompanying global warming, the
actual likelihood is that it would enhance agricultural output enough in
some regions to actually increase the supply of food.
Elevated CO2 enhances plant growth too. Quite significantly in fact.
Yes, we've all seen the Robinson, Robinson and Soon report. But you
don't base your thinking on them.
I wasn't. I haven't seen it.
It's well known that CO2 is not the *poison* the greens claim it is but in fact
a natural 'fertiliser'.
I have seen CO2 called a "greenhouse gas" in terms of AGW. I have not
seen it called a "poison" by them.
A quick Google search for "CO2 poisonous" found this, which may also
help you with some of your basic science questions to Trevor, but no
groups claiming that is is "poisonous" in small amounts (high amounts
CAN kill you, which is why plastic bags are marked "not a toy"):

Here, one would presume that a site called "treehugger" would be just
chock-full of "kooky" and "whacky" bits from those crazy "greens".
Have fun!

Oh, and BTW, please don't forget second and third-order effects: as
things warm up to the north, it has a very negative impact on living
species other than plants. Species are indeed dying as the Earth warms
up. Further, CO2 is also really good for plants that are not generally
viewed as positive, like poison ivy or kudzu here in the US:
As noxious plants outpace the beneficial effect from CO2 better than
slower-growing "good" plants can, we may also enter into a dwindling
spiral of needing ever higher amounts and ever increasing
concentrations of herbicides or pesticides (since the balance between
species is also affected) as a result:

So things may not be as simple as "CO2 good for plants! Warming good
for plants!" like AGW deniers like you try to position it. Do try to
consider those pesky side-effects next time.
