The funniest part to me was the wailing about pollution, when it
was
decided by some right here on RAO within the past couple of days
that
global warming does not exist. Apparently, pollution only matters
when
somebody else does it. These posters are against Kyoto, yet they
whine
that China is exempt. Where's the sense in that?

Stop playing stupid
whether one accepts or rejects global warming,
one would be upset that China is exempt.
If one believes in GW, one would be upset that CHina is allowed
to wantonly contribute to the problem.
If one rejects GW, one is upset that China is exempt
from the costly environmental controls other nations have to comply
with.

No, if one is against Kyoto and does not believe GW exists, one would
not use Kyoto or a GW proponent as premises in an argument. That
would be hypocritical.

no, one would have a legitimate complaint.

No, one wouldn't. Why should 2pid care if China does not fall under
Kyoto? Neither does the US.

It doesn't matter though: as it turns out, burning coal is a good
thing!

not about GW, though, but about trade and economies.

Then 2pid should have phrased his argument in those terms, which he
did not. Besides, since the US is not a Kyoto signatory, the fact that
China is exempt from Kyoto creates no trade advantage over the US. If
2pid had brought up China's artificial currency valuation as an
economic complaint, that would be something else.

And puhleeze do not try to tell me that 2pid is taking some sort of
big-picture world view. 2pid's 'world view' ends at Orange County. His
'world view' may go as far inland as the Salton Sea.

Lol...I bring up trade, economics, pollution to discuss.
What do you bring up? I meant besides me?

Where did I bring you up? I don't see "2pid" mentioned once.

So how do you feel about the 1,000-foot wall and the minefield?

Why is it the first words you type are usually BS?

So how do you feel about the 1,000-foot wall and the minefield?
