It's interesting to hear him quoted and interviewed so
much re: the Iraq war. I liked his writing in Absolute
Sound of old. I wonder if he's still into home audio.

Good question. I imagine he needs his relaxation time
more than ever these days.

I wonder where he's institutionalized at? It was quite
clear that he was way over-stressed when he was writing
all the craziness that was published in Audio. I
understand he was acting as a national secuity advisor
at that time, I wonder what part of the craziness of
those days was due to his poor judgement?

He still writes for TAS...has a review in the October
issue of the PS Audio Power Plants.

I'm sure his manuscript was received by TAS, still damp with drool.

He is considered one
of, if not THE, bests analysts in Washington covering the
Middle East and statecraft in general.

Not everybody fawns over him like you apparently do, Harry.

Harrry, you may be in love with Bush and his hawkish administration, but
I'm not.

LOL. You are corresponding with a committed and long-time Democrat. But I
approach issues by reading widely and thinking deeply about things, and
Cordesman is a fine intellect and analyst. I don't always agree with him
any more than I do several others. But I almost always find that his
perspective on things stimulates my own thinking and further reading and
research.

Wouldn't you call that objective, Arny?

Sounds like you have a more "religous" approach to this as to many other
topics. Or is it just "subjective" :-)

Your slurs and
demeaning of him without even knowing what he is doing
and what his place in the "real world" is reflects
accurately your own bad judgement.

If I don't know what Cordesman is doing, then he and I share at least one
thing in common. ;-)
