I agree. Something is happening to Krueger, To say that he's
losing
touch with common sense is putting it mildly. On April 26 in the "SACD,
DVD-A will not die" thread he put on a performance worthy of one of
his more moronic followers. He kept screaming "Liar" at you and when I
told him that in a normal discussion, normal people do not accuse each
other of lying he shouted "Liar, liar" at me.
He used to keep the elementary standards of civilised discourse
up till now. Something is unhinging him. Shame- another one lost
to the sewer..

Hey, fellow RAOers. Quiet Sunday morning here, so I just thought, out
of simmering pique and sheer malevolence (plus a chance to interrupt
the ongoing fun and frolic between Soundhaspriority and his numerous
namesakes), that I'd re-visit this old Kroo-post in case anyone missed
it at the time. As an astonishingly bitter personal attack occasioned
by nothing, as an explosion of self-aggrandizement not seen since the
Third Reich, as a piece of delusional ranting with intimations of
omniscience and suggestions of an ego bigger than all outdoors, but
above all as incontrovertible evidence of why Arnold Krueger Esq. is
one of the most infuriating, oft-rejected and occasionally even
detested posters on Usenet ....well, a quick perusal should convince
you that this missive is without peer.
Whilst reading, please note the following phrases:
"You're full of ignorant pride, and can't take being corrected by
anyone, "
"a almost totally worthless person like you Paul"
"Your problem Paul is that you're not even smart enough to make the
mistakes I make"
I'm looking at it from Arnie's POV. Arnie believes I'm a
Middius follower, therefore a subjectivist. And what
Arnie believes is always right.
Wrong again, Paul.
I'm an informed subjectivist. I'm easily in the top quartile of all
audio experts who post on Usenet and the web. I build audio complex
gear from scratch, do live recording and live sound for fun and
profit, and built two trend-setting internationally-recognized web
sites related to audio technology. I'm comfortable and competent
specifying and setting up anything from a vinyl playback system, to a
high quality 2 channel listening system, to a multichannel AV system
including video projectors, to a 32 channel digital recorder, to a 56
channel digital mixer with dozens of mics and speaker systems for live
sound and recording, to computer systems for high quality audio
recording, production, listening, or technical measurements.
I'm also an internationally-recognized authority when it comes to
designing and performing listening tests.
I'm not the best but I'm up there. I have busted a well-known audio
magazine editor's chops on his own playing field.
OTOH Paul, you're a naive subjectivist, with hardly any technical
knowlege at all. You're full of ignorant pride, and can't take being
corrected by anyone, as you blunder around the world of audio
technology with hardly a clue. I've tried to help you, and you've
wasted an incredible amount of energy trying to denegrate me for my
efforts on your behalf. A natural ally of a almost totally worthless
person like you Paul is Middius, and you're happy together. You
reinforce each other. Middius makes you feel like you have worth,
even though you just barely deserve to exist in the world of audio.
Like Middius and Morien, you need the Usenet equivalent of yellow
safety tape wrapped around almost every post you make,
because they represent thinking that is so mislead and misleading.
Oh, and do I believe I'm always right? Not hardly. For example I've
recently made a technical post that is off by an order of magnitude in
the third decimal place, IOW it's about 0.9% wrong. Thing is, I was
correcting an error that was 100% wrong.
Your problem Paul is that you're not even smart enough to make the
mistakes I make, and you're clearly unable to know what they are or
how to correct them. Well, maybe you can correct some of my typos and
expeditious syntax. So what?
