For a typo?

A typo in the middle of your insult.
You can't just talk the talk.
You have to walk the walk.

Um, have I ever called you stupid for typos?

(But I have for several other reasons...)

I could easily do the same but I don't think it adds
anything to my argument. People who consistently
resort to such childishness have...
well issues is as polite as I can put it.

It's pretty well agreed that attacks on typos are as weak as you can
get. So, BTW, is comparing someone to Hitler.

IIRC, that's an automatic loss of argument.

You are such an alarmist. That graph just shows what reversing Roe v.
Wade will do.;-)

I don't want Roe v. Wade reversed.
And those graphs show a lot more than that.

I didn't say that you did.

What alarms you about the population projections?

Which of the curves in this link do you think are
in the best interest of the quality of life for US
citizens, the environment, and the world?

How should I know? How can you know?

I can't know... but I can speculate and have an opinion.
I think its time for this country to alter its policy to one
that can accept a stable population.

One that, say, severely limits immigration?

Severely enough that we don't risk doubling our
population again. I have a friend that works in the
gov managing VH-1B visas. These are intelligent educated
people that want to gain entry to the US.
People who without a doubt contribute more than they
take. They've already issued this years allocation
according to him.

One that allows one child
per couple? Exactly how would you accomplish this?

Our own birth rate has leveled... without immigration there
is effectively no population growth.
All we need do it control immigration.

Do you have kids? It kind of changes your perspective
on the world beyond your life.

I think of that often. Global warming. Water. Energy. Food production
and distribution. How China will handle being the economic leader of
the world. What will happen in the Middle East when oil is gone. How to
pay off a national debt that has grown by 3 trillion dollars in the
last 4.5 years.

All things worth considering.

Population control has not cracked my top five.

Seems to me that most of your top five is very much
linked to population growth.

Capitalism depends on a growing market, so maybe it's great news.

I don't agree with that. Our ponzi scheme of entitlements depends
on economic growth. Capitalism will not fail if population growth
is halted. Sure there will some adjustments but we will have
to face that sooner or later. We can't have population growth
forever and I think it will be easier to face that issue sooner
rather than later.

The Ponzi scheme that alarms me the most is recent republican spending.

Thats peanuts compared to entitlement deficits.
