I'm looking for recommendations for a small hifi (micro or mini?) thatRecently, I bought a JVC UX N1W that is an "executive" micro stereo
can play songs from my laptop. I'm based in the USA. What type of
line-in should I look for--I'm not familiar with the digital v. analog
technologies, however I know the RCA type (I presume this is analog)
and the smaller, single pin type (like a headphone jack).
Many thanks in advance.
that fit on top of my bookcase headboard & can be used as an "alarm
clock" with just wake-up music to radio or cd; cost was $99.
There is line input & output playing from an external device or record to
an external device. The only problem is that some settings can only be
done via the remote but it does have 3 timer on settings & the timer off
can be adjusted to one's desire as well as separate volume settings for
the timer separate from the "normal" listening setting. The other
gotcha could be that it is preferable to upen/close the fliptop lid for the
cd using the open/close button & not close by hand as warning says can
damage the mechanism.
You should go to Best Buy or Circuit City to give a listen to see if any
unit would be "good enough". I'm just using mine as both a clock radio
and listening while on the computer.
