It's finally done.

Just set up my new car stereo, and I'm extaordinarily happy about it!!!

I've asked a lot of questions on here about everything from brand
recommendation, to port length vs. port shape. I learned everything I
possibly could about the T/S measurements. The following is what I
ended up installing into my 97 Jetta; and is the product of about 1
year of planning, questions, re-planning, more questions, and personal
application of new knowledge:

1 Panasonic CQ-C5410U Head Unit
-Plays CDRs and CDRWs
-Reads Mp3s and WMAs
-Has an Auxilliary input
-25 watts per channel RMS

4 Pioneer TS-G1640R 6.5" Coaxial Speakers
-30 watts RMS each (perfect match for HU amp)
-Able to install without replacing stock speaker adapters.

1 JBL BP150.1 Class D subwoofer Amp
-Puts out 150 watts rms at 2 ohms
-Maximum Current Draw is only 14 Amps

1 Jensen KS210 DVC 10" Sub
-Rated for 175 watts RMS (450 Max) (perfect for amp)
-SPL - 90.93 dB @ 2.83v/1M or 87 dB @ 1W/1M
-Fs - 31.38Hz

1 Custom Built Ported Box (designed and built by myself)
-back end has 60 degree bend to slide right up to the back seat
-6386.42 cubic inches (already minus sub).
-Tuned to 26Hz with help of WinISD

I know there are going to be some of you who will say that this setup
isn't good, or that your own sounds way better, or even that there's no
way this is loud enough.
To those people I say this: I didn't design this *** for you, now did
I?
One of the fantastic things about this install is that you DON'T hear
it coming from a mile away (at least, if the windows are up). 150
constant watts, in my humble opinion, is all anyone could need in a sub
- at least for their own personal use (if you're trying to throw some
sort of bass block party every time you roll down the street then no,
this wouldn't be enough for you.)
The HU has a volume that goes to 40, and I haven't managed to get past
25 (even at that volume, there's still no distortion). As a matter of
fact, I believe that my ears would bleed if I turned it to 30!
Due to the box volume and tuning thereof, I get every last bass note I
could want out of a 10 inch sub - no need for a 12 here! And holy
***, does it THUMP!

Let me tell you that most of the questions I asked here got answered,
and answered well. I credit the help and advice I got here with how
incredible this sounds when in action.

Thank You One and All!

Love, Peace, and Scooby Snacks,
