Good try.
If you'd like to explain how impedance is derived, I'm ready for another
laugh. An 8 ohm resistor will still be 8 ohms in an AC or DC circuit. An 8
ohm resistor is both 8 ohms of resistance and 8 ohms impedance. 8 Zs of
impedance? Where'd you get your info, Mmdir or bob wald? Do a google
search and see how many websites list units of measurement for impedance.

I'll admit I was wrong on the first post. I was thinking the speaker was
1.5" in diameter. I hadn't thought the 1.5" was in reference to the voice
coil diameter.
