When you take into account crossover settings, tweeter positioning, etc, I
usually find that it takes a minimum of a month to properly tune a system.
Making a change, listening for a minute, and then changing back isn't
always a good method. Oftentimes, a change may sound better or worse
simply because it's a change and not because it's an actual improvement.
For example, many folks disconnect their rear fill and immediately don't
like the difference - however, if they give it a week or two, they may
find that things actually do sound better and less fatiguing.
So I suggest first finding a good starting point. Then give at least a
day of driving (preferably more) to try out any changes after that.
