-Ratings Breakdown:
It was yet another lackluster Saturday. CBS finished as the
most-watched network, at just 4.48 million, with its combination of
encore telecasts of Rules of Engagement (Viewers: #4, 3.08 million;
A18-49: #3t, 0.8 rating/ 3 share), Mike & Molly (Viewers: #3, 3.46
million; A18-49: #4,0.8/ 3) and CSI (Viewers: #2, 4.43 million;
A18-49: #3, 0.7/ 2) from 8-10 p.m., and an original installment of 48
Hours Mystery at 10 p.m. (Viewers: #1, 5.74 million; A18-49: #1, 1.2/
4). 48 Hours Mystery was the most-watched show of the evening (which
is not saying much, no doubt), according to Nielsen.
NBC ranked first among adults 18-49 with its repeat line-up of
two-hours of The Voice (Viewers: #1, 4.45 million; A18-49: #1, 1.2/ 4
from 8-10 p.m.) and the pilot episode of Smash (Viewers: #2, 2.97
million; A18-49: #2, 0.8/ 2 at 10 p.m.). My prediction for Smash in
episode two is erosion of 10 to 20 percent.
Elsewhere, ABC opened with repeat half-hour holiday specials Be My
Valentine, Charlie Brown (Viewers: #2, 3.32 million; A18-49: #1, 1.0/
3) and A Charlie Brown Valentine (Viewers: #4, 3.02 million; A18-49:
#2t, 1.0/ 3) from 8-9 p.m., followed by four encore telecasts of
Cougar Town at just 1.46 million viewers and a 0.5/ 2 among adults
18-49 from 9-11 p.m., which finished last in each half-hour. Cougar
Town returns for season three out of Last Man Standing in the Tuesday
8:30 p.m. time period tomorrow.
Fox closed the evening with two hours of America?s Most Wanted at an
uneventful 3.61 million viewers (#3) and a 1.0/ 2 in the demo (#2)
from 8-10 p.m.
Archie and Edith; Hawkeye and Hot Lips; Mary, Bob and Carol; Captain
Stubing; Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia?we miss you!
