EW had a few interesting notes about salaries for stars on new broadcast
series:
Aston Kutcher, 2 1/2 Men $1m per episode (including back end estimate)
Minimal talent, and that may be giving Kutcher far too much credit.
This show's dead. Rules of Engagement should be replacing it in no
time.
Jim Caviezel -- yeah, who? -- he was the guy in Mel Gibson's "Christ",
getting $100k for CBS "Person of Interest"
Yeah, who? However, I'm going to give this show a chance.
Tim Allen -- $225k for Last Man Standing
I'm DEFINITELY watching this show. Tim Allen? I'm there.
Patrick Wilson (Little Children) - $100k+ - A Gifted Man
Who? I'm passing on this one. Not interested at all.
Maria Bello, Prime Suspect reboot - $125k
I can't see her on this show, but I'm going to give it a chance.
Zooey Deschanel, $125k for New Girl on Fox
I'm looking forward to her show. I dunno, there's something about
that girl, not a rocket scientist but nice big Anne Hathaway eyes,
cute and with a nice singing voice. Sue me; I like her.
and last but hardly least ...
Buffy, $90k for Ringer.
Unfortunately, Ringer is on against NCIS: LA and New Girl. Gotta get
another recorder or two. Friday will require four, because of CSI:
NY, Grimm, Fringe and Supernatural.
