"adopted" wife and kid at the funeral - I was starting to wonder if
the show had forgotten about them.

She was married to Frank's son, and that's their daughter, his
granddaughter.

And, surprise, it ends with DiNozzo apparently going undercover

LOL. But you know, there are no good suspects. All the regulars have
signed on, and there's pretty much nobody else we ever see shy of maybe
the Director's secretary.
