The greatest irony in this story may be that there've been so many
changes in the details of it, yet the essence of what happened is
pretty simple. "Most Wanted Terrorist is now dead, thanks to a
daring, well-executed mission authorized by Obama, carried out
by Special Forces, and [see here for further details...]."

The TOTAL screwing up of the "see here for further details... " part is
the greatest irony, because the very difficult mission itself succeeded.

No kidding. I've never seen a group of people snatch defeat from the
jaws of victory as regularly as the current crew in the White House.

They took a huge win and managed to completely bungle it by futzing
around for three days, then announcing they're gonna keep the pictures a
secret to avoid hurting the feelings of the very people who want to kill
us. Oh, and at the same time telling anyone who doesn't agree with that
decision that they're un-American.

Unbelievable.

It is very disappointing to see them have to back track on almost every bit
of the information released by the White House or staff. First it was a
firefight where bin laden had a gun and used a woman as a human shield. Now
all that has devolved in to bin laden not even being armed. If I was on
the other side of this I could easily be led to think they are lying about
everything and don't even have pictures.

Much less DNA.
