Well are there any HD channels that never show HD? I don't see an

If they air 5 hrs per week of HD programming then they should have to
disclose that they are 3% HD.

It doesn't bother me, as the HD is free. What's outrageous is DirecTV
is charging $120 a year for it (way more than they do for a DVR
even!).

It's like the 3-D channels, even though they
don't broadcast regularly it'd still be a treat to have them.

It would? 3D golf? 3D NCAA finals? It doesn't sound like a treat worth
paying for.

I haven't seen it for myself but read good reviews. My question is
does the 3-D only work when you're sitting directly in front of the
screen? If a bunch of guys get together to watch the playoffs would
they need to cozy up to each other?
