Gud gawd, it's season 20! And they haven't repeated a plot yet, at least
not more than six time.

I thought the first half of the show began on a promising note, and I
liked the defendant's ability to manipulate the law. Writing that writ
free hand, with citations, was very interesting.

But then it devolved into political silliness.

In court, Mike was able to put up blow ups of famous news photographs of
torture from past wars that had nothing to do with his memos. And Mike
got away with a Godwin argument. No evidence of actual legal procedure.

Not really, he showed those things and asked if the "President could
do that", and whatsisface said he could, "depending". Juries love
visuals.

Connie didn't get to do or say anything legal this week.

"No PC no search warrant. Give me that..." Not as legal as usual,
but...

Van Buren announced that she has cancer, so I guess that's notice that
she'll be killed off this season.

She will just deal with cancer and its treatment (to add some
background to a very much ignored woman, outside her job).
