None of those generate anywhere near enough electricity, as compared
to conventional coal or nuclear power sources.

That's why you use a Smart Power Bar. When you turn it off, everything
on the bar is turned off and the electricity is cut off, so there's no
leakage.

Many electronic devices have features that need power 24/7.
Physically cutting power disrupts those features.
