90210 - D They really screwed the pooch on this one afaic. They have
everyone, and I mean everyone, totally unlikeable. All of them can drown
in
the ocean for all I care based on this. Why would you do this in the very
first episode of the season? Do they not want viewers to come back? The
new
"manmeat" they've added is also a bore. Liz Rohm looked good though. I
don't
see how they can even keep Annie on the cast after she hit and runs
someone
and kills them (I had hoped it would be Ethan if they were getting rid of
the character). That's prison time, isn't it? I'm also not looking
forward
to a show where bitches run the school. It's been done before -- several
times. Seriously, they had better up their game or this one going to be
toast although if it really gets to be as bad as I think it might, I'll
watch just to mock. I was actually looking forward to the return of this
one. Rest in peace, Grandma. You've been axed.

I had a longer reply to this, which got axed when my NewsWatcher
crashed.

But, the take-home message was - I totally agree with you.

They've made every character totally unlikable now (even Adrianna). They
never should have dumped Ethan.

I totally think this show is toast, though with the lack of
alternatives, I'll probably watch it for a while longer...

What the heck is wrong with having a show with likeable characters? I knew
it would go down hill when they brought aboard the new showrunner given what
she does. They might as well get rid of Mom and Dad completely. They
obviously are phasing them out given they have less involvement all the
time. The original 90210 got rid of the 'rents and went down slope from
there. The early episodes of this reincarnation were good I thought
precisely because Mom and Dad and Kelly were there to ground stuff in
reality. It is also amazing to me how quickly Silver has recovered from her
misfortunes. So is Sara Foster gone now having done a bed and run?
