I was quite surprised by Doc's handling of his girlfriend's
concerns over the future. I can't believe he said "I don't know
where I'll be after Labor Day" and his suggesting they effectively
break up. This seems completely stupid on his part.
You're absolutely right. It's another dreadful tv relationship.
My Mom hates the girlfriend - my theory is that she's not alone, and
they've set this up in case they want to write her out.
I'd put money that she's not back in season #2...
If they showed more of her at the hospital, she'd certainly be more
interesting. They don't do a lot with her.
She would be better as a role player that was not featured as much. They
rushed this whole courtship thing. No wonder the Doc is waffling.
