Probably the best idea they could come up with that wouldn't create

Oh yes it will eventually. People will start to dig just like in real
life. Not all of them can be anonymous donors, not for 600,000
dollars according to the preview for next week season's finale.
There will probably be "real people" donating, as well, not just the---
laundered money.
Agreed, but the majority of it will be fabricated and it will look
suspicious to people who look closely that the majority of it would
be untraceable. The relatively few legitimate donations could be used
as a cover though, again, if no one looks too closely.
The whole point was that it could be easily made to look legitimite.
That's the point of ANY money laundering scheme.
It is amazing it was Walt's foolish pride originally in not taking
charity from his friends that got him into this mess. Now it is that
same false pride that had him refusing "cyber begging" from his son.
He learned absolutely nothing.
What was there to learn? Walt has been consistent. He didn't want
charity from family and friends, and he still doesn't. But with the web
site, he doesn't have much of a choice, and it IS the perfect solution
for bringing the money into a "spendable" account for his family.
He cannot connect the two. This is why
I can't really feel sorry for him. His foolish pride has lead him to
commit murders and sell poison to people.
Walt's pride is his biggest problem, and it will probably be
instrumental in his eventuall downfall. But it is a very real character
flaw, of which many of us are cursed. His desire was and continues to
be for him (Walt) to take care of his family. At least his intentions
are golden.
