btw, binoculars don't make things look better...only
closer...comparing them to HDTV is just plain silly.

But binoculars do make things in the distance better - you can see them
more clearly than with the naked eye.

Only if the lens are corrective like glasses.

Otherwise there is no similarity of binoculars and HDTV.

Binoculars don't improve what something looks like, things look the
same as they would if you were standing closer to the object, and
viewing it with your eyes.
