Your comparison is absurdly oversimplified. The fact that it can be
expressed in pidgin English is a clue for you...

Everything else is Abrams' smoke and mirrors to make it look like it
really isn't his rip-off of Nerw People's sociological study/
experiment.
Translation: "I can see differences between the two shows, but since they
weaken my argument, I choose to ignore them".

If Lost is a "blatant rip-off" and is "plagiaristic" then I wonder why
nobody filed a lawsuit 4.5 years ago for a cut of the profits. An accusation
of plagiarism needs to be based on more than a few superficial similarities.

--- Boy, a joke really goes way over your head, doesn't it?
Apparently, a lot of other people's heads here, too.

With you, we can NEVER be sure when you're serious or joking.

Next time, include a smiley. Then we know that you were lucid when you
wrote it...

--- I refuse to dumb myself down for my audience by including smileys
with my jokes. You're either smart enough to get the joke or you're
not. Of course, sometimes you get dead giveaway clues from me that it
is a joke, i.e. "De plane! De plane! De island! De island! De
people! De people! De same! De same!" And still some people don't
get it. It only makes me shake my head as to what people have
devolved to over time - dysfunctional with jokes without smileys..
