Sad to see the Montecito close its doors? Eulogies are
currently being accepted in the white box below.

I am so glad. I gave up on this show about halfway through
the first season, and I have been waiting for it to go away
ever since.

I've just never understood this mindset. If you don't watch a show,
why would you care if it's on the air or not?

Because if there's nothing in that time slot that I want to watch, then
there's a chance that it might be replaced by something good, if they
cancel it.

I watched the first couple of
episodes of "Ghost Whisperer" when it premiered, realized I didn't
much like it, and stopped watching it. However, I'm not actively
rooting for it to be canceled and I won't post happy messages when it
finally is.

If a show like "Las Vegas" has been on the air for 5 years, then it's
obviously got a significant following,

That's not obvious at all, because I've seen poor shows survive for much
longer than they should have. ER has been worthless for many years now,
and they just can't find a way to reclaim the glory days of old, but it
took them forever to decide to cancel it.

Las Vegas has been through a *lot* of changes, and producers were
obviously trying to find a formula that worked better than the one they
already had. Eventually it was relegated to the Friday night wasteland,
and then it was simply cancelled.

considering most shows get
canceled after only 5 episodes these days. And if people have been
watching it for 5 years and enjoying it, why would you begrudge them
that and take joy in seeing something they like taken off the air?

If I don't know them, then its cancellation isn't hurting anybody
that'simportant to me, and maybe they didn't exist at all. Maybe
they're just a figment of your fertile imagination.
