So, it's speculation on your part. You're acting like it's a know
fact. Maybe it is a known fact, that is why I'm asking.
Ah, no, sorry. I would call it a "logical inference" at best. As I
see it, they were very much trying to go with a "self-fulfilling
prophecy" motiff in the first Terminator film. I find the idea of it
being self-fulfilling through the actions of the characters to be more
satisfying from a literary standpoint than it being a matter of some
sort of mystical "fate".
