I tend to disagree. If anything there are fewer majority black shows
than just a few years ago when UPN and The WB were separate networks
(both networks tried to appeal to black audiences with black-oriented
shows and have since merged). And keep in mind that Sanford and Son
and The Cosby Show were really all-black shows. On Everybody Hates
Chris, Chris's friend Greg is white and often gets more screen time
than any character not named "Chris."

Now compare this to Samantha Who? which has an all-white cast. Except
for Tim Russ who occasionally plays a doorman, there are no non-white
characters on this show but I don't see anyone complaining about it.
And there are numerous shows on the air which are just like it.

Maybe you just have a hangup about seeing too many blacks on one show?

Maybe he's watching BET. :)

Fox used to try to bring in black viewers. Remember Living Colour?
Maybe this is what networks try to do to be alternative but then they
go for more diverse casting once they realise that what's hip and cool
soon becomes old and stale.
