Well, A&E HD is back on the air - short of. They're running a 4:3 copy
of CSI Miami stretched wide, making everything squat, ala the short fat
Charmed witches on TNT HD.
They'd have been better off staying dark until they actually had it
fixed.
Bleah.

Why watch the Sci Fi Channel?
For every Flash Gordon, there is an Earthstorm!!
Other than a short David Caruso, how is A&E HD (when working) as far as
levels of popup banners, animated logos and other graffiti? Hopefully better
than the regular A&E which is dreadful.
small logo in the corner; not overly pop upish. Either that or I've
gotten used to it. :)
First burn I ever saw was on A&E on DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS. I'd gone to a
friend's house to watch it, and they put this HUGE logo on screen,
literally filled a quarter of the screen, and it reappeared on a regular
basis, like very 7 minutes, and it got to where we were waiting for it,
and screamed every time it happened . . .
