Professional series saver Heather Locklear has a new task: inject some
humor into CBS' Rules of Engagement. Locklear has signed-on for at
least two episodes of the soon-to-be sophomore sitcom.

-Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jason Alexander Reunite:
Former Seinfeld co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jason Alexander will
appear together when Alexander guest stars on CBS sitcom The New
Adventures of Old Christine, which returns in midseason. Alexander
will play a lizard handler for children's birthday parties with whom
Christine (Louis-Dreyfus) goes out on a date.

-Next Round of Contestants on ABC's Dancing With the Stars:
ABC has announced a new list of 12 celebrities -- the largest to date
-- about to compete in the upcoming fifth season of mega-hit Dancing
With the Stars. They include former Spice girl Melanie Brown,
recording artist Sabrina Bryan, Indianapolis 500 champion Helio
Castroneves, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, former Beverly Hills,
90210 star Jennie Garth, actress/model Josie Maran, All My Children
star Cameron Mathison, boxing great Floyd Mayweather, the legendary
Wayne Newton, Marie Osmond, model Albert Reed, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine
Woman star Jane Seymour. Look for the return of Dancing With the Stars
on Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET.

-Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader ? The Celebrity Edition:
Fox has announced a celebrity edition of game show Are You Smarter
Than a 5th Grader? for the November sweeps. Competing for charity will
be Regis Philbin, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Access Hollywood co-
host Billy Bush, Miss America Lauren Nelson, and former American Idol
contestants Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler.

-Coming Up Online ? PeopleJam:
PeopleJam, an upcoming social networking site targeting the most
compelling characteristics of the Internet and video to create an
online community, will launch its beta site (http://www.peoplejam.com)
in late September. Founded by digital media and entertainment industry
veterans Matt Edelman and Robert Torcek, PeopleJam will feature more
than 150 experts and life coaches, video content and user generated
content to help members of the community get more out of their lives.

-A New Contender for Daytime Talk ? Steve Harvey:
Twentieth Television has taped a daytime talk show pilot with former
sitcom star Steve Harvey that is based on Harvey's current radio show.
The target launch date is Sept. 2008.

-Cable Series Renewals:
Comedy Central has renewed veteran South Park for an additional three
seasons, with an order for 14 new episodes each year through 2010. And
VH1 has picked-up non-scripted Scott Baio Is 45?and Single for a
second season. The first season of the Scott Baio relationship half-
hour concluded last Sunday.

-Kids' WB! on the CW Announces Fall 2007 Line-Up:
Kids' WB on the CW, the top-rated Saturday morning non-adult broadcast
network, will introduce four new series on Sept. 22 -- Eon Kid, Magi-
Nation, Will & Dewitt and Shunk Fu. Here is the new line-up (with new
