At 116 I suspect you start to feel like you are baking. At
least your sweat does some good in keeping you cool, unlike the
95F temp with 80% humidity that we see so often in the
Southeast.
On my first trip to Scottsdale/Phoenix in August [many years ago]
it was 108-110 and being from the SE, I thought I would die! When
you opened the door to go outside it was like sticking your head
in a 350 degree oven. I guess it all depends on what you're
accustomed to. That was quite a shock to me. :)
I don't sweat (not like most people, my skin just gets sticky) so
I have trouble dealing with heat. I have to drink lots of water
to cool off.

It's the same with me, Sue. Maybe that's why I couldn't tolerate
those high temperatures... even though dry heat is easier for
some. I decided I'd have to stay where I am. bj
I lived in MI for 3 years and the humidity there is just as bad.
Anything over 85 (actual temp or humid levels) and I wanna get in out
of the great outdoors.

My hometown, New Orleans is like that. 100 in the summer with 100
percent humidity. When I moved here, everybody was warning us about
the summers....it seems to be just like home, except the sun seems
stronger....don't know why.
