And as matter of fact, smartass, I *do* pay for usenet access.
My wife and I use Earthlink as our ISP (dial-up sucks, but we
don't have another option at the mo'), and I used Easynews as
my NSP. In both cases, I'm paying a monthly charge for the
service.

I love and respect my tv cable service , I respect it , I pay
for it...so why cant I get shows that were taped from it?

Because the shows aren't owned by the cable company.

people checked it out then they went and got it on DVD, and decided to
